Torino cannot afford to keep Hart
Torino head coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has expressed interest to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart but the only problem is that the Italian side cannot afford him.
Hart joined Torino on a season-long loan as he found out he was not part of Pep Guardiola’s plans.
Speaking to Gazzetto dello Sport, as cited by the BBC, Mihajlovic believes it is down to Manchester City as to whether he could tempt the England international away from the Etihad.
Hart wants to stay at Torino but we are all aware, both him and the club, we can’t buy him,
At the most we could take him on loan for another year but that depends on both Manchester City and him.
We will need to know if Hart is going to be here next year because if he’s not then we’ll need to change the way we play.
In March, Hart spoke to the BBC’s Premier League Show and does not see himself playing for Manchester City.
When asked about Hart this week, Pep Guardiola refused to talk about the goalkeeper’s future.
At the end of the season we are going to speak about the players who are under contract next year and about the loan players.
Hart has been the subject of plenty of interest from top flight clubs in England and is looking all but set to move on when the summer transfer window rolls around, but it’s now looking increasingly likely that his next destination will not be in Torino.
The England international will seek pastures new, despite City potentially moving in for a new goalkeeper this summer.
