Manchester City have sealed their place in the next round of the FA Cup with a 5-1 win against Huddersfield tonight.
City eased their way past The Terriers, despite going 1-0 down in the first-half.
Former Manchester City academy player Harry Bunn handed Huddersfield the lead when his low drive beat Claudio Bravo straight down the middle of the goal.
However, City found their equaliser when Raheem Sterling teed up Leroy Sane to tap in in the six-yard box.
Sergio Aguero then handed City the lead when he converted from the spot after Nicolas Otamendi was hauled down in the box.
Pablo Zabaletta added a third just before the break. The fullback got on the end of a cut-back from Aguero to tap the ball into an empty net.
It was made four in the second half as Aguero netted his second. Sterling put a superb low driven ball into the box and the forward tucked it into the top corner was divine quality.
The scoring was then rounded off in the 91st minute when Kelechi Iheanacho flicked Jesus Navas’ cross into the far corner.
Picking a man of the match has been very difficult, with all of the forward line performing so well. It could have gone to Aguero, Kevin De Bruyne or Sane.
But, I have gone with Sterling as my man of the match. The winger was exceptional throughout and his end ball was pinpoint on virtually every occasion.
He set up two of the five goals and was a constant nuisance to the Huddersfield backline with his direct running at the defence.
But as I said, all of the attacking players were top class tonight and they all deserve individual praise.
