Manchester City are waiting on Leroy Sane’s decision on whether or not he wants to join Pep Guardiola’s new project, according to The Manchester Evening News.
The youngster, who was part of Germany’s squad at Euro 2016, has attracted plenty of interest from City, who are willing to pay Bundesliga side Schalke up to £40m for his services.
It had been reported that a deal to take Sane to the Etihad Stadium would be wrapped up as soon as Germany were eliminated in France, however that didn’t happen and his decision is set to be made before the end of the week.

20-year-old Sane made 42 appearances for the Bundesliga side in all competitions, netting on nine occasions.
Sane made the switch to Schalke back in 2011 where he was in the youth ranks, from fellow Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen. Sane’s first professional deal at Schalke was signed in 2014, where he signed a three-year contract.
Bruno Peres is also said to be linked with a move to the Premier League, after City opened talks with Italian side Torino regarding a deal that could cost Guardiola and co. up to £17m.
