Manchester City fans have revealed that they would prefer for Yaya Toure to leave the club this summer rather than see out the remainder of his contract.
A poll on Read Man City saw 58% of City fans vote ‘No’ to the question ‘Should Toure stay at City?’.
Toure has been continuously linked with a move away from the club since the February announcement that Pep Guardiola would replace Manuel Pellegrini at the end of June.
The pair briefly worked together at Barcelona, before Guardiola sold Toure to City.
There have been some reports suggesting that the Ivorian is willing to work under the ex-Bayern boss once more and other reports that the relationship has broken down to the point where a working together would not be an option.
42% of the City supporters that voted, however, would like to see Toure reunite with his former boss and remain at the Etihad next summer.
