Spanish star Nolito has decided to join Manchester City after Barcelona dropped their interest in the winger, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The 29-year-old has impressed so far at Euro 2016 for his country and helped Celta Vigo to an unexpected top-half finish in La Liga last season, with growing speculation that he would leave the club after the end of Spain’s aforementioned Euro 2016 journey.
His starring performances have seen some of Europe’s best clubs enter the race to sign him, but it appears that a move to the Etihad is on the verge of completion.

Nolito has a £14.9m buy-out clause and could become the second signing of Pep Guardiola’s reign at the club, following in Ilkay Gundogan’s footsteps.
Mundo Deportivo also reports that City could face late competition from Premier League rivals Arsenal and West Ham for the signing, but Nolito would prefer to work under compatriot Guardiola then Arsene Wenger or Slaven Bilic.
