Manchester City will target Juventus full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner this summer, according to Il Messaggero.

New City boss Pep Guardiola is looking to revamp his squad in preparation for the 2016/17 campaign and has reportedly identified Lichtsteiner as one of his main priorities.
Having already recruited Ilkay Gundogan from Borussia Dortmund, players such as John Stones and Toni Kroos have also been linked with moves to the Etihad.

Lichtsteiner is currently on international duty with Switzerland, for whom he has 82 caps, at Euro 2016 so a deal would be unlikely to go through until Switzerland’s campaign is over.
While the 32-year-old has the potential to offer experience to the City side, fans have been calling for younger faces to be signed in recent months and this does not comply with those demands.

City’s two current right-backs, Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta, have both been linked with moves away from the club in the last few weeks.
