Manchester City have been hit with a tricky set of fixtures for the 2016/17 Premier League campaign.
Pep Guardiola’s first game in charge of the Blues will be at home to Sunderland on 13th August and he will then take his City side to the Britannia Stadium to play Mark Hughes’ Stoke City.
The eagerly anticipated Manchester derby showdown comes just four games into the season, with Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho doing battle at Old Trafford on the 10th September.

City kick-off October with a trip to play Spurs, while the first scheduled Premier League game in December comes against Chelsea at home on 3rd December. City play Champions Leicester in the same month, as well as games against Arsenal and Liverpool in the crucial Christmas period.
The home derby comes on the 25th February, although it could well be changed as it is on the same day as the Capital One Cup final. City’s run-in at the end of the season comprises of games against Arsenal and Chelsea at the start of April, before three final games in May against Crystal Palace, Leicester City and Watford – where Guardiola and troops will finish the domestic campaign.
