Manchester City have joined Premier League rivals Chelsea in the race to sign West Ham playmaker Dimitri Payet this summer, according to Don Balon.
Payet impressed in 2015/16 for the Hammers, grabbing 15 goals and 13 assists, after arriving from Marseille in the summer for a fee of £10m.
The French international, who scored a late winner in the opening game of Euro 2016 against Romania on Friday, is now understood to be valued in the region of £60m.

His current club, West Ham, are reluctant to let a player of his quality leave the club but will be powerless if either Chelsea or City meet the proposed price.
Having secured the signing of Ilkay Gundogan and believed to be closing in on centre-back duo Aymeric Laporte and John Stones, incoming Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has now made Payet his number one target this summer.

City are also reportedly in ‘advanced talks’ with Borussia Dortmund over prolific striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as Guardiola looks to overhaul his ageing City squad and bring in a new wealth of talent.
