Manchester City pair Luke Brattan and Anthony Caceres have joined City Football Group partners Melbourne City on loan for the 2016/17 season, according to ESPN.
Caceres spent the second half of last term on loaned in Melbourne after Manchester City purchased him from Central Coast Mariners in the 2016 January transfer window and will now remain in Australia for another season.

Brattan, meanwhile, joined Manchester City last summer but remained at the club for the majority of the season before a loan spell at Bolton. The 26-year-old failed to make an appearance in the Championship and will now return to his home country of Australia, having last played there in 2015 for Brisbane Roar.

Both players have past experience in the A-League and are expected to become pivotal parts of the Melbourne City midfield with the imminent departure Aaron Mooy, who is wanted by a number of teams around Europe.

The moves see the first loan departures of the season for the Citizens, with many more expected in the coming months.
