Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero is being touted for a return to Spain by La Liga outfit Celta Vigo, according to reports in AS.

Caballero is expected to leave the Etihad this summer, with new manager Pep Guardiola desperate to recruit another goalkeeper in his first transfer window with the club.
The 35-year-old joined City from Malaga in 2014 and has made 20 appearances for the club, including a Capital One Cup-winning performance in this season’s final against Liverpool.

When he joined the club, the Argentine international was looking to challenge Joe Hart for the first-choice spot for the Sky Blues. However, his failure to do so has left City looking for a younger replacement.
Geronimo Rulli, who was on loan at Real Sociedad last season, has been rumoured to be interested in joining City and impressed Guardiola with his performances last campaign.

Caballero is poised to become the third departure from the ageing contingent at the Sportscity campus following Martin Demichelis and Richard Wright’s absence on the retained list, which was announced yesterday.
