According to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Manchester City are closing in on the signing of Borussia Dortmund’s Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang was in hot form last season in the Bundesliga. The 26-year-old notched twenty-five goals in thirty league appearances for Die Borussen.
He also added eight goals in 10 Europa League games, in which his team reached the quarter finals before being knocked out by Liverpool in dramatic fashion.
He could become Pep Guardiola’s second signing from Borussia Dortmund in this window following the signing of İlkay Gündoğan last week.
A deal for Aubameyang might be something that doesn’t go down that well in Dortmund, especially as Pep Guardiola was the Bayern Munich manager last season and also thanks to the sale of many key players such as Gundogan.
