Manchester City have been named the club that was best value for money in the 2015/16 Premier League season.
The survey was based on each club’s cheapest season ticket price and the amount of home goals that each team scored.

Despite a limp performance in 2015/16, it appears that City fans have nothing to be annoyed about when it comes to the price of season tickets compared to the number of goals scored.
The cheapest season ticket available for City fans was £299 and Manuel Pellegrini’s men netted 47 Premier League goals at the Etihad Stadium last campaign, meaning that fans paid £6 per goal.

This beat all of their Premier League rivals, including unprecedented champions Leicester City who paid £10 per goal at the King Power.
Arch rivals Manchester United finished in the bottom half of the pile, with fans paying £20 per goal scored – £14 more per goal than City fans.

The Citizens have also frozen season ticket prices for the 2016/17 season so supporters can expect the same value, if not better, next term.
