Despite a season filled with uninspiring performances and an away record to forget, Manuel Pellegrini’s Manchester City side still managed to bag an impressive 115 goals in all competitions.
The season began with a goal from none other than Spanish wizard David Silva and ended with one from Kelechi Iheanacho, who burst onto the scene this season. In between there were some important goals, such as Kevin De Bruyne’s exquisite finish to send the Sky Blues in the semi-finals of the Champions League and, although not scored by City, Winston Reid’s winner against Manchester United in the final match at Upton Park.
