Since Shiekh Mansour’s takeover in 2008, Manchester City have been forced to endured endless comments on how they hardly have any players who have come through their academy.
The City hierarchy have built a new £200m academy complex to try and boost the number of players breaking through from the Elite Development Squad into the first-team.
