Incoming Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola is not interested in signing Leicester City holding midfielder N’Golo Kante, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Kante, who was nominated for this season’s PFA Player of the Year award, has been linked with City in recent weeks.

The Frenchman was a driving force in Leicester’s title-winning campaign and has earned himself an international call-up to play at this summer’s European Championships in his home country.
However, Manchester Evening News understands that he does not feature on the list of targets that Guardiola and City director of football Txiki Begiristain have drawn up.

Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos and Kante’s compatriot Paul Pogba do, however, feature on the list and Guardiola is aiming to sign one of them as well as Borussia Dortmund playmaker Ilkay Gundogan, who has been pictured in a meeting with Guardiola and Begiristain since the announcement was made that the Bayern coach would replace Manuel Pellegrini this summer.
