Manchester City starlet Tyrese Campbell has put a host of Europe’s top clubs on red alert by declining a new contract offer at the Etihad Stadium, according to ESPN.
Campbell is concerned by the lack of youth players breaking into the first-team and feels that there is no room for progression at the club.
The likes of Kelechi Iheanacho, Manu Garcia and Bersant Celina have all made more than three appearances for the first-team this season, even though they began the season in the Elite Development Squad.

However, Campbell feels that this is not enough to persuade him to stay at the Sportcity campus and wants to move to a club where he can see a clearer path into senior football.
Fellow Premier League clubs have been made aware of his situation and are even more encouraged by the fact that they will only have to pay a minimal amount of compensation to secure their services.

Campbell, son of ex-Arsenal striker Kevin, is perceived to be one of England’s most exciting talents and, despite being just 16, has appeared for City at U18 level and England at U17 level.
