Manchester City look to continue their quietly impressive mini run of form when they take on West Brom at the Etihad on Saturday evening.
The fixture has been an important one for City in recent seasons, with City’s victories over the Baggies in 2011/12 and 2013/14 beginning their change in fortunes and surge towards the title.
Winning the Premier League looks to be out of question for the City but they still want to finish the season strongly and secure a Champions League place before Pep Guardiola arrives in the summer.
Frankly there is still motivation for City to win and confidence in the camp should be high after two positive results: a thumping win over Bournemouth and a well-earned 2-2 draw against PSG in the Champions League quarter-final first leg.
For the visit of West Brom, City are still without Vincent Kompany and Raheem Sterling, while David Silva also sidelined with an ankle injury. However, Yaya Toure is back in the fold following a knee problem.
Here is how we expect City to line up for Saturday’s 5:30 kick-off.
