Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri will have his future at the club determined by how he plays in the Sky Blues’ remaining seven Premier League fixtures, according to the Daily Express.
The Frenchman has been sidelined since October with a hamstring injury and returned in last weekend’s Premier League clash with Bournemouth.

However, the reports suggest that incoming manager Pep Guardiola will assess Nasri’s performances from now until the end of the season and decide whether the ex-Arsenal playmaker will be a casualty of the summer exodus at the Etihad Stadium.
Nasri is, however, expected to start in Saturday’s match against West Brom after teammate David Silva was ruled out with an ankle problem and Manuel Pellegrini is preparing to rest players ahead of the Citizens’ crucial Champions League quarter-final second leg with French giants Paris Saint-Germain after the sides drew 2-2 at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday.

Having impressed in previous campaigns, Nasri will be looking to put in a stellar performance to make a statement to Guardiola that he is willing to fight for his place at the club.
