Manchester City may gamble on the fitness of captain Vincent Kompany in order for him to feature in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie against French giants Paris Saint-Germain.
Having drawn 2-2 at the Parc des Princes, The Guardian reports that City are looking to use the two away goals to their advantage by strengthing their back four.
Kompany has had an injury-stricken season and spent the majority of it on the sidelines with a recurring calf problem.

After two months out with the aforementioned calf injury, the Belgian skipper returned in a Boxing Day encounter with Sunderland and left the field eight minutes later with another injury – playing him against PSG could result in a similar outcome.
Throughout the season, the Sky Blues have suffered defensively and been at the centre of criticism for their performances without Kompany in the team.

Eliaquim Mangala and Nicolas Otamendi did, however, cope adequately against PSG’s formidable attacking trio – Edinson Cavani, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Angel Di Maria – and stated claims to start the reverse fixture at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday.
