Manchester City are one of a number of Premier League clubs said to be closely monitoring the situation of Aston Villa winger Andre Green.
The 17-year-old has been at the Midlands side since the age of nine and has made a handle of first-team appearances.
Green is a regular with the under-21s and according to the Mirror, scouts from City, Liverpool, Spurs and Arsenal watched the talented winger play against Midlands rivals West Bromwich Albion in the under-21’s league.
Green made his debut for the under-21s aged just 15 and is considered to be as one of the club’s most promising academy products.

With Remi Garde’s side set to be relegated to the Championship, Green could look to make the move away from Villa, with City showing a keen interest. Now with the City Football Academy facility and a number of players getting first-team opportunities such as Kelechi Iheanacho, Manu Garcia, Tosin Adarabioyo and Bersant Celina, there does seem to be a pathway into the City side.

City are known to look for the very best young, English talent and at 17, Green appears to fit the mould.
