Manchester City striker Wilfried Bony is Everton’s number one choice to replace Romelu Lukaku in the summer should the Belgian frontman leave Goodison Park, according to reports in the Sunday People.
Ex-Chelsea forward Lukaku has expressed his desire to play Champions League football in recent months and his form has attracted interest from the likes of Real Madrid, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain, as per his agent.

Bony has struggled to adapt to City’s style of play since joining in January 2015 and is expected to be part of the summer exodus at the club, with the impending arrival of Pep Guardiola set to innovate the Citizens’ squad.
The 27-year-old has scored ten goals in 40 appearances for the Sky Blues but has become an understudy to Sergio Aguero and the emerging Kelechi Iheanacho this term.

Everton boss Roberto Martinez sees Bony as an ideal replacement for Lukaku, with his ability in the Premier League already proven at Swansea and both having similar attributes.
