Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne revealed that he was ‘happy’ with how his return to the side went in Saturday’s 4-0 victory over Bournemouth.
De Bruyne, 24, made his first appearance in over two months in the Premier League clash at the Vitality Stadium and impressed supporters with his performance.

The Belgian international scored on his return and played 60 minutes before being hauled off to recover for City’s Champions League encounter with French giants PSG.
Speaking after the match, De Bruyne was pleased with how he physically felt throughout the game despite describing the process of recovering from an injury as unpredictable.
You never know what is going to happen with the first few games back. I’m happy with the way everything went and physically everything was OK. I’m happy I could play almost an hour and I hope I can go on like this.

The ex-Wolfsburg man also believes that the win will give the Sky Blues the confidence to defy the odds and pull off a shock in the centre of France on Wednesday.
This [result] gives us a boost but PSG is another game in another cup and hopefully we can do well. It’s going to be hard but we’ll do everything we can to win that game.
Samir Nasri also made his return from injury on Saturday, replacing David Silva in the 66th minute.
