Sky Sports’ Spanish expert Guillem Balague says that Manchester City have offered Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre Ter Stegen ‘a huge contract’.
Rumours have surfaced in recent weeks linking the second-choice shot-stopper at the Nou Camp with a move to Manchester and Balague has confirmed contact between the two clubs about a potential summer move.
Man City have offered him a huge contract and the English club needs that type of goalkeeper so they will make a huge effort to convince him to move.
Ter Stegen has become unsettled with the Catalan giants in recent months after struggling to secure regular first-team football.

Chile international Claudio Bravo has been keeping the 23-year-old on the bench for the majority of this season but Ter Stegen is desperate to get more game time in order to rival Manuel Neuer for his number one spot in the Germany squad.
While Barcelona are understood to be concerned that they may not be able to ‘convince’ Ter Stegen to stay in Spain, Balague states that €80m buy-out clause in his contract makes it difficult for him to leave the club.
It’s going to be a struggle to keep him but Barcelona have something which can help them which is a buy-out clause of €80m.

Balague does, however, believe that Barcelona may use Bravo’s age to help convince the ex-Borussia Monchengladbach man to stay at the club.
They want to tell him that Bravo is in his thirties and he is only 23, he can become the number one in time if he’s patient.
