According to Duncan Castles of the Sunday Times, Pep Guardiola is planning for a major summer clear-out when he arrives at Manchester City.

City have struggled under Manuel Pellegrini this season and have lost ground on their title rivals. Now currently lying in fourth place, there is a danger that City will be playing Europa League football next season.
That could spark a mass exodus at the club, with a number of senior players potentially departing.
As per the report, captain Vincent Kompany, Yaya Toure, Wilfried Bony, Samir Nasri, Eliaquim Mangala and Aleksandar Kolarov have all been placed on the transfer list.
The City hierarchy are believed to want Guardiola to transform the side to a more balanced, dominant team – something which has not been the case this season.
Key players such as Kompany and Toure may be forced to leave the club as the former Barcelona boss looks to refresh and assemble a more youthful side. Skipper Kompany has been plagued by calf injuries this season while Toure was previously sold by Guardiola at Barcelona and this season has been unable to reach his dizzying heights in past seasons with the club.

Everton’s John Stones and Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan are said to be top targets for Guardiola and City.
