Pep Guardiola could be bringing in Bayern Munich midfielder Sebastian Rode to the Etihad this summer, according to the Daily Mirror.
Guardiola has found it difficult to bring Rode into the Bayern team due to the talented nature of Bayern’s current midfield.
Rode, 25, wants more action and could leave in the Summer to join Manchester City for a £10 million fee.

With City’s midfield needing improvement, Rode could be the perfect defensive player which City need following the departures of Gareth Barry and Nigel De Jong.
With Fernando’s inconsistent performances, the only consistent defensive midfielder for City is Fernandinho, however, when playing with Yaya Toure, Fernandinho is often left to protecting City’s back four by himself.
Guardiola is already rumoured to have created a shopping list for Manchester City regarding players to bring in the Summer.
Besides recognised names in the Bayern side, Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is also rumoured to be joining City this summer after stating that he would like to work Guardiola.
