Manchester City have their chance at winning their first trophy of the season after a dramatic 3-1 win over Everton in the Capital One Cup final.
As usual, City did not make it easy for themselves and allowed Ross Barkley far too much space to open the scoring.
But the Blues hit back through Fernandinho in the first half before Aguero hit the post with a fine strike.
The woodwork was involved again when Zabaleta picked out Silva on the right.
City did grab that all-important second, though, when Sterling looked to have overrun the ball to the point where the ball had gone out of play but squared for substitute De Bruyne who duly dispatched.
The Belgian then delivered a sumptuous cross to find Aguero who expertly directed the ball past Robles to send City fans into raptures.
The only negative was that De Bruyne suffered a nasty looking knee injury in stoppage time.
