Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero has returned to full training, ahead of his side’s game against Arsenal on Monday evening.
The Argentinian picked up a heel injury in City’s 3-1 win over Southampton at the Etihad last month and subsequently missed their four following games. However, after Manuel Pellegrini revealed Aguero would be back in training this week, it appears the experienced Chilean boss was correct.

City will feel boosted by the return of Aguero, having lacked real goalscoring conviction without the former Atletico Madrid striker, who has proven to be prolific since coming to England.
It’s unknown whether Aguero will be fit in time to face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Monday but City will feel hopeful that he stands a chance.

The 27-year-old is City’s top scorer this campaign, with nine goals and six in his last three – a return that helped them to the summit of the Premier League table, before Leicester took over top spot.
