Former Bayern Munich boss, Ottmar Hitzfield, reckons Spaniard Pep Guardiola will join Manchester City at the end of the season, report FoxSports.com
Guardiola, the current Bayern Munich manager, is expected to leave the Bavarian club at the end of 2016 when his current contract runs out. City, United and PSG are all clubs who have been linked to the ex-Barcelona manager.
Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has said that the German champions would hold talks with the 44-year-old over his future in January, but Hitzfield is convinced Guardiola is heading to City.
“I’m relaxed, as is the coach,” Rummenigge said last month. “We’ll come to a decision and announce it whatever the outcome,” he told reporters.
Hitzfield feels the Guardiola to City deal is as good as done.
“I suspect that Pep will leave Bayern because Manchester City keep turning up with the money,” said the five-time winner of the Bundesliga with Bayern.
Hitzfield also won a Champions League with Bayern during his two spells in Munich and added that the Catalan’s unwillingness to sign a new deal is a strong indicator that his departure from Germany is imminent.

Guardiola, who won a myriad of trophies during his time in charge of Barcelona, including three La Liga titles and two Champions Leagues, has been at Bayern since 2013.
Munich play Darmstadt 98 tonight in the DFB-Pokal and travel to Hannover on Saturday before they break up for their annual winter break. In contrast, City face Arsenal next Monday night in a top-of-the-table clash and the first game of what will be a packed December schedule.
