Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has branded the dismal defeat at Stoke “unacceptable”.
After back-to-back wins against Southampton and Hull, City were outplayed by a confident Stoke City side but Hart admits there can be no excuses for the performance produced by the Blues.

Here is what Joe Hart said, courtesy of the Guardian:
It was a disappointing start and we could not recover from it. We didn’t play well today. A few of the lads are feeling it from the games we are playing but that is not an excuse. We need to put in at least a 7/10 performance every game and we are not doing that. We can’t accept how we played today.
Manuel Pellegrini, however, took a different stance and addressed the ongoing injury crisis at the club. City currently have the likes of Vincent Kompany, Sergio Aguero and Yaya Toure on the treatment table.

“We had a lack of reaction, too many games for the same players,” the manager told the BBC. “We are the only team playing in all the competitions and playing with 13 players in all competitions.” He told the BBC.
The boss also admitted his disappointment at the lack of quality in defensive and attack today.
