Manchester City face a tricky trip to Stoke this lunchtime, with Manuel Pellegrini’s men aiming to maintain top spot for another week.
City have responded well since the 4-1 drubbing inflicted by Liverpool with two successive wins against Southampton and Hull City.
Their next opponents Stoke lost against Sunderland in their last Premier League match but did book their place in the Capital One Cup semi-finals with a win over Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.
The Blues have a wealth of injury problems for the game so it will be interesting to see what side Pellegrini opts for
