The Manchester derby at Old Trafford didn’t live up to its billing, ending in a stalemate.
But City will be the more satisfied of the two sides, having played United without the deadly duo of Sergio Aguero and David Silva.
And though City weren’t at their most potent going forward, the team showed a new side to their game and were excellent in defence – with Otamendi in particular stifling the United forward line to great effect.
