Manchester City youngster George Evans has joined League One side Walsall on a one-month loan deal.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who can also play as a central defender, has been loaned out to League One sides twice before, making this his third spell in the third tier of English football.
Two seasons ago, Evans spent six months with Crewe Alexandra before heading to Scunthorpe United for the last three months of the last campaign.
Evan’s City debut came in September when Manuel Pellegrini opted to bring him on for Yaya Toure in the 4-1 win over Sunderland in the League Cup.
The Saddlers hope to have Evans available for selection for their league fixture at Barnsley with Sam Mantom a doubt after limping off in Saturday’s 2-1 defeat to Chesterfield at the Bescot Stadium.
Evans is the son of former Man City physio Ronnie Evans, and has represented his country, England, at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-20 level.
