Yaya Toure is rumoured to be considering international retirement as he looks to prolong his club career with Manchester City.
According to the Telegraph, Toure is contemplating international retirement as he looks to ensure he stays in peak physical condition for his club, as City look to add to their ever expanding trophy cabinet.
The 32-year-old midfielder, who earlier this year helped his country to win the African Cup Of Nations, is likely to be included in the national team squad for games against Morocco and Ghana in the next international break which takes place next month.

Toure responded to rumours of his forthcoming international retirement saying:“It’s Manchester City first, but for this month, I stay quiet and do what I have to do.”
“For me, the most important thing is the challenge. I love challenges, I love to lift trophies and I don’t want to talk about those things at the moment and stay focused.”
“They (Ivory Coast) know what I am capable of doing and how much pressure I take for the young players and sometimes the people cannot accept (players retiring). It’s difficult for them.”
“But for me, I have to look at myself. I’m a good competitor and always want to improve, always want to be at the top.”
If Toure decides to call time on his international career, it would end an 11-year spell which has included playing in three World Cup’s, as well as playing in six African Cup of Nations, in which he has been a winner of once in 2015 and a runner-up twice in 2006 and 2012.
