Enzo Maresca’s side discovered their eight opponents in Thursday’s draw in Monaco, with four games at the Etihad Stadium and four away.

## Barcelona trip stands out for Man City

The visit to Barcelona is the most eye-catching of City’s four away games, while PSG will come to Manchester.

There are also trips to Portugal to face Porto, Germany to play Leipzig and France for a meeting with Lens.

Sporting, Napoli and AEK Athens complete the home schedule.

The order in which City’s opponents were drawn does **not** represent the order in which the games will be played.

UEFA will confirm the full fixture list, including dates and kick-off times, no later than Saturday, 29 August.

City are appearing in the Champions League for a 16th successive season.

The competition again features a 36-team league phase, with every club playing eight games against eight different opponents.

The top eight teams in the final standings qualify directly for the last 16, while those finishing ninth to 24th enter the knockout phase play-offs.

City’s league-phase matchdays are scheduled for **8-10 September, 13-14 October, 20-21 October, 3-4 November, 24-25 November, 8-9 December, 19-20 January and 27 January**.

Maresca now knows who City will face. The precise order of those eight games should become clear by the weekend.
