# Confirmed Man City lineup vs Chelsea in FA Cup final

**Pep Guardiola has named his Manchester City team who will be competing for their second trophy of the season.**

It is almost time for kick off at Wembley, with Manchester City completing their final preparations before taking on Chelsea.

The Sky Blues have been in a similar situation to this already in recent times, having reached the Carabao Cup final back in March.

City were successful that day against Arsenal, and now they are looking to inflict the same fate on another team from the English capital.

With things getting underway in just under an hour, Pep Guardiola has named the eleven players who will take to the pitch this afternoon.

## Man City’s starting lineup

James Trafford has retained his spot in City’s team, having started every one of the club’s domestic cup matches this season.

The ever reliable Matheus Nunes is joined in defence by Abdukodir Khusanov and Marc Guehi, while Nico O’Reilly will attempt to recreate his Carabao Cup final heroics.

Rodri is back in midfield for the first time since picking up an injury in April, and he is joined by his captain Bernardo Silva.

Antoine Semenyo maintains his place in the starting XI after scoring against Crystal Palace, while Jeremy Doku will look to keep up his electric form on the opposite wing.

Omar Marmoush is starting today instead of Rayan Cherki, playing alongside Erling Haaland up front, who is hunting for his first Man City goal in a cup final.
