# Confirmed Manchester City lineup to face Newcastle in FA Cup fifth round

**Manchester City’s starting lineup to take on Newcastle United has been announced, with just under an hour until the teams do battle for a fifth time this season.**

Victory is a necessity for Manchester City in tonight’s FA Cup fifth round clash and there will be a feeling of confidence in the away dressing room.

City have already defeated Newcastle three times this season, so Eddie Howe will have had a tough time coming up with a game plan which breaks the pattern.

However, Newcastle are coming into this fixture straight after seeing off Manchester United, while Man City were only able to carve out a 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest.

With not long to go until kick off, Pep Guardiola has named his starting lineup for what could either be a terrific or dreadful night for the Sky Blues.

## Man City make 10 changes from Nottingham Forest draw

Guardiola has made wholesale changes from the team which drew with Nottingham Forest, with James Trafford starting in goal.
