# Key Battles: Manchester City vs Tottenham

Manchester City host Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night in the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals, with one English team having to exit the competition.

It’s advantage Spurs in the tie after Heung-min Son’s second-half strike was the difference in the first leg as the Citizens couldn’t find a way past their opponent’s defence.

With Harry Kane injured, Lucas Moura stepped into his shoes on Saturday to steer Tottenham to a 4-0 win against Huddersfield Town. However, City defeated Crystal Palace 3-1 on Sunday to take the top spot in the Premier League, but for only a few hours.

Tottenham have shone since they moved back home but have not played an away game since, so how will they fare against a City side desperate to turn this tie around?

Here are a few key battles which could determine the result on Wednesday night with both teams battling for a place in the semi-finals.
