Manchester City Predicted XI: Cardiff (H)

After an impressive performance against Fulham, Manchester City will look to keep the advantage over Liverpool with their game in hand.

They can do so by getting three points on Wednesday against a Cardiff City side that showed against Chelsea they are not simply walkovers.

The main injury news to come out of the Fulham game is that Sergio Aguero is not fit to face the Bluebirds. Therefore, another attacking alternative will be required.

Other than the Argentine and Fabian Delph, Pep Guardiola will have his full squad to choose from.

However, at this stage of the season, there is no opportunity for rotation just to rotate. This is because every game is a cup final and, therefore, every player will deserve their place in the starting line-up.
