City linked with move for Fulham youngster Harvey Elliott

Manchester City are one of several teams considering launching a move for Fulham star Harvey Elliott, who is earning rave reviews at youth level.

The London Evening Standard claims that Chelsea, Barcelona and Borussia Dortmund are all interested in signing the player.

Potential suitors were said to be alerted by Elliott at a recent England Under-15s tournament in Italy.

Fulham are keen to tie him down already, but at the age of 15, he can only discuss a scholarship deal in January, giving clubs a window of opportunity before he signs a professional deal at the age of 17.

City have shown themselves to be keen on planning for the future by swooping up some of the best young talent available.

Pep Guardiola’s side are also believed to be close to signing Shamrock Rovers youngster Gavin Bazunu.

Elliott could, however, look to follow the likes of former Manchester City star Jadon Sancho to the Bundesliga.
