Manchester City collapsed against Manchester United, missing out on the chance to secure the Premier League title against their biggest rivals.
City looked like they were in control of the game and ready to clinch the title going into half time. Goals from Vincent Kompany and İlkay Gündoğan gave City the lead going into the break, with United only managing one touch in the City half.
However, straight from the restart, United looked a different team. In the space of 97 seconds, Paul Pogba scored two goals to level the game and deny City their title hopes for another few days.
It would then get worse for City, with Chris Smalling scoring with 20 minutes to go to give United the lead. Pep Guardiola threw on Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero, but it wouldn’t be enough.
City can now secure the title at Wembley against Spurs, but will be devastated they couldn’t wrap it up against their fierce rivals.
