# Navas set to join Sevilla in the summer

Manchester City man Jesus Navas’ contract expires at the end of the season, and the [Telegraph](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/04/11/jesus-navas-re-join-sevilla-man-city-expires-end-season/) have claimed that he is set to sign for Sevilla when the summer transfer windows rolls around.

Navas has been used very much as a rotational option under compatriot Pep Guardiola this season, but the former Barcelona manager has been utilising him as a right-back in recent weeks as he looks to experiment with his squad.

The right-sided Spaniard signed for City back in 2013 for a fee of around £15.9 million, and it’s now looking nailed on that he will return to the club that he was initially bought from.

It’s claimed in the report that Serie A side Roma are also keeping tabs on Navas’ situation and could make a move for him when his contract expires, but the player himself has his heart set on a return to his homeland with Sevilla.
