Jadon Sancho impressing for the U23s
Jadon Sancho is one of the most promising young talents in the Manchester City academy right now and he’s on the verge of making his first-team debut in the near future.
The 16-year-old has caught the eye of Pep Guardiola who has had him join a number of first-team training sessions this season and encouraged the attacker to make the step up to the U23s at the turn of the year.

Sancho hasn’t looked back, netting three goals in his first six games for the U23s, including this great solo effort against Sunderland U23s last month and an excellent individual performance against Arsenal U23s last night during their 3-3 draw.
He’s also been putting in top performances at youth international level with five goals in his first six caps for the England U17 side.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for the left-winger who joined City from Watford for £250,000 back in 2015, a deal which could rise to £500,00 if certain clauses are met.

Aware of the interest in him from the Gunners along with Tottenham, City have moved fast to tie him down to a new contract with the Mail reporting a three-year deal has been agreed for when he turns 17 next week. Some outlets have claimed this deal is worth a bumper £30,000-a-week.
Sancho, along with midfielder Phil Foden and Spanish playmaker Brahim Diaz are talents that Guardiola wants to keep at the club and push them into the first-team in the near future.
