City 1-1 Dortmund: Four players who impressed

Manchester City played out a 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund in the International Champions Cup, before defeating the Bundesliga side 7-6 on penalties in Shenzhen.

There were plenty of positives from a City point of view, evidenced in the shape and pressing from Pep Guardiola’s side.

Even on a torrid playing surface, there were plenty of pleasing aspects for Guardiola and City and of course the likes of David Silva, Nolito, and Sergio Aguero got much-needed game-time.

City went ahead in the second half after a flowing attacking move involving Angelino, David Silva and Aleix Garcia. The latter played Silva in with a delightful pass and the City No.21 squared for Aguero, who tapped home.

The Blues looked set to get the win before Dortmund equalized with the last kick of the game through youngster Christian Pulisic.

The game went to penalties, where Angus Gunn proved to be the hero.

But who impressed for City in their second pre-season fixture? We take a look at four City players who shined.
