Which players in Euro 2016 would be of use to City?

Manchester City fans are undoubtedly counting down the days until Pep Guardiola officially takes the reins at Manchester City – it’s mere days away.

But a good chunk of blues are bound to have been keeping an eye on the Euro’s, with many City players taking part in the tournament in France.

City stars David Silva, Joe Hart and Raheem Sterling all saw their respective sides knocked out of Euro 2016 in the past couple of days. However, Kevin De Bruyne and Jason Denayer’s Belgium are in the quarter finals where they will face Wales. French duo Bacary Sagna and Eliaquim Mangala are also in the final eight.

Conversely, in the last eight teams, there are several players who could be of use to City, particularly with Guardiola at the helm.

We’ve not selected any players from Iceland despite their shock victory over England.

However there are a number of players left in the tournament who could do a job at the Etihad. We take a look.
