In Pictures: Manuel Pellegrini’s final game in charge

Manuel Pellegrini’s final game as Manchester City manager ended in a 1-1 draw against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.

Arch-rivals Manchester United’s game with Bournemouth was abandoned due to a suspicious package being found in the toilets at Old Trafford. That gave the City the initiative in the race for the top four, as they kicked off at the normal time of 3pm.

Kelechi Iheanacho put City ahead inside five minutes with his 8th Premier League goal of the season but the Blues squandered a host of chances to increase their lead.

On the stroke of half-time, Fernando diverted an Andre Ayew free-kick into his own net and City had to settle for a point – though it looks to be enough to secure Champions League football for next season.

Here are a selection of images from the game.
