Predicted XI: Manchester City vs Real Madrid

Manchester City face their biggest game of the season on Tuesday when they take on the mighty Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-final first leg at the Etihad Stadium.

City, despite their failings this season, find themselves with a genuine chance of reaching the Champions League. Real Madrid, with all the quality and history they possess, should not be taken lightly but the Blues will fancy their chances having knocked off PSG in the last round.

Under Roberto Mancini, City failed to beat Real Madrid when the two sides were in the same group in 2012/13 – losing 3-2 away and drawing 1-1 at the Etihad.

City have many of their key players back in the fold, apart from Yaya Toure who is ruled out with a thigh injury. Real Madrid do have a few injury concerns though so there is reason for City to be optimistic.

For a game of such magnitude, how will City line up? Here is our Predicted XI.
