Played for both: Chelsea and Manchester City

Manchester City travel to Stamford Bridge to play Chelsea this weekend in what will be the third meeting between the two sides this season.

City were on a roll at the start of the season and dismantled Chelsea at the Etihad in their first home game of the season, claiming a well-deserved 3-0 win.

The story was a little different in the FA Cup, where Manuel Pellegrini fielded a young, inexperienced side against Guus Hiddink’s side and City were condemned to a 5-1 defeat.

Over the years there have been a number of memorable games between both Chelsea and City – as well as a plethora of players who have turned out for both sides at different stages in their career.

Ahead of Saturday’s big clash, we compile a list of players who have played for both Chelsea and Manchester City.

We’ve done our best to include the important ones, but do let us know if we have missed any out. You can tweet us @ReadManCity.
