# Manchester City vs West Brom: Five previous meetings

Saturday sees mid-table West Bromwich Albion visit the Etihad Stadium in a match that could hugely dent Manchester City’s chances of Champions League qualification.

The Sky Blues, however, boast a very good record against West Brom, winning 44% of their matches against the Baggies (19% drawn), and will look to improve that record on Saturday evening.

Tony Pulis’ side are firmly positioned in mid-table, with no danger of relegation and an uphill battle to break into the European places, but have shown to be better playing as the underdogs in recent weeks – beating Manchester United 1-0 before holding league leaders Leicester City to a 2-2 draw the following week.

Injuries to David Silva, Vincent Kompany and Raheem Sterling will leave City with a weakened team, but will the Citizens still come away with a victory?

Without further ado, here is the five previous matches that the sides have played against each other.
