Incoming Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola will not be able to recall midfielder Patrick Roberts in the summer.
The 19-year-old joined Scottish champions Celtic on an 18-month loan deal in January after appearing just three times for City in the first half of the season.
Since joining the SPL outfit, Roberts has impressed and earned a place in the starting line-up at Celtic Park.

Celtic boss Ronny Deila has told the Glasgow Evening Times that the talented youngster will remain in Scotland for the 2016/17 campaign and issued a hands-off to Guardiola.
The deal we have with Manchester City is for 18 months and we did that because we wanted the player to have time to settle and get to know how we play before the summer and next season.

Deila went on to praise Roberts and remained adamant that the ex-Fulham winger would still be in his squad next season.
We have always believed that he could be a big player for us.
So there is no way he will be going back to Manchester City before the deal runs out. We made that very clear.
The England Under-19 international joined the Sky Blues from Fulham last summer in a deal worth in the region of £11m.
