Predicted XI: Bournemouth vs Manchester City

The international break is usually considered an annoyance by many, a bit like that Cat from down the road that keeps using your back garden as a toilet and, no matter what you do, keeps coming back again and again.

However, that wasn’t the case, this time, around for Pellegrini and his sinking ship that is the current incarnation of Manchester City. Manuel welcomed that Cat into his garden with open arms.

A dismal run of league form that has stretched back to last Autumn and has come to a head recently, after a series of alarming performances and defeats against teams in the European mix, got a much-needed break. Several players were able to switch focus from Club to Country and there was some positive news on the injury front.

Kevin De Bruyne, Samir Nasri are both expected to be fit enough to feature from this weekend onwards.

We now attempt to predict the starting lineup for Saturday’s game at Dean Court as the Blues look to rediscover some form and a scoring touch on the road.

matchday.
